Professional Development Hours toward Salary Scale Advancement. Staff members holding at least a Bachelor degree and participating in professional development activities outside of the regular school day or the regular school work year, may elect to receive District Sanctioned Professional Development Credit for salary scale advancement or the regular professional development stipend when a stipend is available. Those electing to have their professional development hours applied to salary schedule advancement must attend the entire professional development activity.

CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Professional Development Reimbursement Management will provide reimbursement for approved professional development expenses for Lieutenants and Sergeants. Funds may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing Lieutenants and Sergeants for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities. Management must approve of the specific professional development request in advance. Denial will require written notification to the requesting Lieutenant or Sergeant.
