Professional Development Allowance definition

Professional Development Allowance letters dated February 4, 2002, and one (1) “Professional Development Allowance” letter resolving grievance #04FSA07, the parties agree to create a new Letter of Understanding as follows:

Examples of Professional Development Allowance in a sentence

  • A sessional practitioner engaged under Arrangement B shall be entitled to be paid the annual Professional Development Allowance prescribed in Clause (30)(6)(a).

  • The annual Professional Development Allowance shall be in the amount of five hundred fifty dollars ($550.00), with no amount reserved as a credit.

  • NOTE: The above is in lieu of the University's Professional Development Allowance.

  • A sessional practitioner under Arrangement B will be entitled to be paid the annual Professional Development Allowance prescribed in subclause (30)(6)(a).

  • Nurse Practitioners shall be entitled to an annual $5,000 Professional Development Allowance to support appropriate professional development opportunities.

  • An employee, excluding casuals, who has been employed within the department for the required qualifying period will be paid a Professional Development Allowance annually.

  • The Local shall submit a written accounting to the Board for all Professional Development Allowance funds, on or before June 30th of each year.

  • A Contract Academic Employee eligible to apply for a Professional Development Allowance under Article 27.01 is eligible to receive a maximum $1000 in any May 1 – April 30 period.

  • Professional Development Allowance for Limited term Appointment increased from $500 to $550.

  • Professional Development Allowance for tenured, probationary and Extended term Appointment increased from $2,400 to $2,650, and the carry over extends from 1 year to 2 years.
