Common use of Process Monitoring Clause in Contracts

Process Monitoring. Each MHF test program shall consist of a 24-hour continuous MHF operation (test run) with all testing to be concurrent with the 24-hour period. Specific individual monitoring test data shall be taken and analyzed prior to any averaging of test data (Table 3-1 identifies proposed test data averaging). During this test program, the MHFs shall operate at not less than 100% of their guaranteed production capacity. For each test day, a minimum of hourly grab samples of lignite feedstock will be collected during the test run (timing of lignite grab sampling to be coordinated with product sampling to account for MHF residence time). Each hourly sample will subsequently be analyzed in an independent laboratory to determine both proximate and ultimate analyses, and for high heating value. The following parameters will be monitored continuously and the plant DCS system will record and log each result a minimum of once per minute during the test run: * The above monitoring data will be included in the final report.
