Procedure for Alleged Violations. Any allegations that there has been a violation of academic freedom or complaint, claim, or charge by a parent or Administrator that any teacher has exceeded his/her rights under this provision, shall not be subject to nor processed through a grievance and arbitration procedure provided by this Agreement, but shall instead first be discussed between the teacher and Principal, then between the teacher and the Superintendent. Should resolution of the problem not be effected, the allegation shall be submitted for deliberation and advice directly to an ad hoc committee, which shall be composed of three persons appointed by the Superintendent and three persons appointed by the Association, which shall make a written report to the Board through the Superintendent of its findings.
