Common use of Probationary Period for Current Employees Clause in Contracts

Probationary Period for Current Employees. Current employees who change job descriptions shall have a probationary period of six (6) working months from the employment date in the new position. The employee serving this probationary period shall retain all contractual rights and privileges granted to a regular employee. The employee is expected to demonstrate the necessary skills required of the position. Employees who change job descriptions will be evaluated at the end of the first, third, and sixth month/annual review whichever comes first, and will receive a final probationary evaluation.
