Preliminary Informal Procedure. An attempt shall be made to resolve a complaint by a faculty member, a group of faculty members or the Association with the appropriate administrator. Should the informal discussion fail to produce a satisfactory settlement, the grievant may move the grievance to the first step of the formal procedure.
