  • Posting of Vacancies At the point the Department proceeds to fill a vacant position by open competition, lateral transfer or promotion, such information will be publicized within the Department for a minimum of five (5) working days.

  • Posting Vacancies 1. Vacancies that occur in certified positions shall be posted online for not less than five (5) working days prior to their being filled or advertised outside the district. The five- (5) day posting requirement may be suspended by the Administration on June 1 each year. The five-day posting requirement shall resume on the first day of October.

  • Posting of Schedules The Employer shall post the weekly work schedule for all employees not later than Monday 6:00 p.m. and twenty-two (22) days in advance. An employee's schedule may be changed without notice in the event of absence of other staff due to sickness or accident or in the event of emergencies. In all other cases, at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice of any change must be given or four (4) additional hours' pay given in lieu of notice. All requests for time off for special personal events to be made to Management for their approval prior to the posting of the schedule, and will be granted wherever possible. It is understood that this clause does not apply to casual employees. There shall be a daily starting time for each employee. Daily hours of work for full time employees shall be consecutive, with the exception of meal periods.

  • Vacancy Posting All vacancies shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each building of the district for a period of ten (10) workdays. Said posting shall contain the following information:

  • Sharing of Overtime Overtime work shall be allocated equitably to qualified employees considering their availability and location.

  • Banking of Overtime (i) Tour Workers who work in excess of eight (8) consecutive hours shall have the option of receiving the overtime premium on the basis of this Section or of receiving straight time for hours in excess of eight (8) consecutive hours and taking equivalent time off in units of not less than four (4) hours at the hourly rate for the job when the work was performed, at a time suitable to the employee and the Company during the contract year. Any overtime remaining at the end of the contract year in which it is banked may be carried over to the next contract year for purposes of taking equivalent time off. If equivalent time off is not taken by the end of the contract year following the contract year in which it is earned, the Company shall pay the deferred one-half premium pay. Tour Workers who choose to bank overtime may later re-elect to receive the deferred one-half premium pay.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.

  • Recording of Overtime Employees shall record starting and finishing times for overtime worked in a form determined by the Employer.

  • Posting of Positions Notice of any opening for a promotional position shall be posted in all schools and departments by the Division of Human Resources & Equity.

  • Removal; Vacancies Any Manager may be removed either for or without cause by the Member. Any vacancy occurring in the Company Board shall be filled by the Member.
