Common use of Planned Overtime Clause in Contracts

Planned Overtime. Planned overtime is time worked in excess of seven hours in a work day which is scheduled in advance and is pre-approved by the employee’s supervisor or designate. Such overtime shall be compensated as compensatory time at one (1) hour for one (1) hour basis to be taken off at a mutually agreeable time as outlined in Article 18.02.
