Common use of Planned Overtime Clause in Contracts

Planned Overtime. When planned overtime is worked on an employee's regular days off, the employee is expected to provide the meal for the first normal meal break, normally at the end of a five (5) hour period actually worked. However, under no circumstances will an employee be required to carry lunches for two (2) consecutive meals. If a meal is provided by the company, employees will not receive a meal chit.
