Planned cancellation – NHS Commissioned Services. In the event of the hospitalisation or other planned absence from home of a Service User the Request for Homecare Services shall be suspended. The Provider must retain capacity to deliver the Services for 7 days unless otherwise agreed between the Parties. If the period of hospitalisation or other planned absence of the Service User from home is in excess of 7 days, only by mutual agreement between the Purchaser and the Provider shall the Request for Homecare Services be kept open by the Provider for the return of the Service User. During the period of suspension no payments shall be payable to the Provider unless this is agreed on an individual basis between the Purchaser and the Provider.
