Payment in lieu of dues. ‌ In lieu of deductions from persons, other than those Employer employees covered by the Union Certificate of Bargaining Authority who are paid directly or indirectly to provide emergency health service or dispatch service, it is agreed that one half of one per cent (0.5%) of the total of such direct or indirect wage payments, irrespective of whether they are paid through the Employer payroll account or the general accounting system, will be paid by the Employer to the Union at monthly intervals to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union.
