Common use of Patient load Clause in Contracts

Patient load. The nurse orientee and the preceptor or designee shall not be assigned a total number of patients in excess of the patient load of the preceptor or designee. The Medical Center reserves the right to interrupt the precepting process to provide for other direct patient care that is necessary. In such an event, the Medical Center will make a good-faith effort to maintain the continuity of the orientation process.
