Participation in Commencement. Adjunct Faculty will be invited to participate in commencement ceremonies. The College will provide a limited number of seats for Adjunct Faculty to attend. The number of seats will be contingent on space availability.

  • Delay in Commencement Notwithstanding said commencement date, if for any reason Sublessor cannot deliver possession of the Premises to Sublessee on said date, Sublessor shall not be subject to any liability therefore, nor shall such failure affect the validity of this Lease or the obligations of Sublessee hereunder or extend the term hereof, but in such case Sublessee shall not be obligated to pay rent until possession of the Premises is tendered to Sublessee; provided, however, that if Sublessor shall not have delivered possession of the Premises within sixty (60) days from said commencement date, Sublessee may, at Sublessee's option, by notice in writing to Sublessor within ten (10) days thereafter, cancel this Sublease, in which event the parties shall be discharged from all obligations thereunder. If Sublessee occupies the Premises prior to said commencement date, such occupancy shall be subject to all provisions hereof, such occupancy shall not advance the termination date and Sublessee shall pay rent for such period at the initial monthly rates set forth below.

The initial effective date of coverage for an employee whose eligibility has changed is the date of the change. An employee must be actively at work on the initial effective date of coverage, except that an employee who is on paid leave on the date State-paid life insurance benefits increase is also entitled to the increased life insurance coverage. In no event shall an employee's dependent's coverage become effective before the employee's coverage. If an employee is not actively at work due to employee or dependent health status or medical disability, medical and dental coverage will still take effect. (Life and disability coverage will be delayed until the employee returns to work.)

  • Commencement of the Offer Provided that this Agreement shall not have been terminated in accordance with Article 9, as promptly as practicable after the Agreement Date (but in no event more than ten (10) Business Days after the Agreement Date), Purchaser shall (and Parent shall cause Purchaser to) commence (within the meaning of Rule 14d-2 under the Exchange Act) the Offer.
