OVERTIME - VOLUNTARY CHANGE OF SHIFT. The provisions of Section 13.1 shall not apply if such time worked outside of the scheduled work week is worked at the request of an employee who had taken time off for personal reasons on a scheduled workday during the same calendar week, or who bids or voluntarily accepts a change of shift that results in an employee having less than two (2) days off between scheduled work weeks, in which case the overtime rate shall apply after completion of forty (40) hours in a work week. Except in those occasions where the Company mandates the junior employee to fill the vacant shift, the Company shall not incur any additional overtime payments as a result of this provision.
