Overtime Compensation Rate. Employees are assigned FLSA Non-Exempt status. Non-Exempt employees shall be compensated for overtime at one and one-half times their regular rate of pay, or comp time off at one and one-half times the hours actually worked, in excess of 40 hours per week. Courtroom overtime is paid in cash compensation. However, if the employee wishes to receive compensatory time off (CTO) credit for courtroom overtime, he must designate such preference on the applicable timesheet.
