Other Adjunct Faculty Work Required by the University. All group meetings held by Departments, Programs, or Schools that the Adjunct Faculty member is required to attend or training or meetings for labs and clinical classes beyond course-related work as defined in Article 15-B. This work shall be paid $35/hour, billable in quarter-hour increments, with a two-hour minimum. This work excludes performance meetings, grievance-related meetings, new hire orientations including the portion for union orientation, and trainings that are for federal and state compliance purposes and paid at the minimum wage then in effect or as part of Course-Related Work. Participating on behalf of the University at other University programs such as Freshmen Orientation Week and campus fundraisers, where such work has been pre-approved by a Xxxx or VPAA in writing. This work shall be paid $35/hour, billable in quarter-hour increments, with a two-hour minimum.

  • VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees.

The City may not award the Contract until registration of all subcontractors and suppliers is complete. In the event this requirement is not met within the time frame specified by the City, the City reserves the right to rescind the Contract award and to make the award to the next responsive and responsible proposer of bidder.
