Objectives and Outputs of the Study Sample Clauses

Objectives and Outputs of the Study. The objectives of the study, as set out in the terms of reference, are to analyse aspects of the costs of these proposed changes. There are a number of objectives identified in the terms of reference, including the following: • to evaluate the potential change in administrative burden associated with simplifying the balance sheet and profit and loss account layouts and requiring the preparation of a cash flow statement for medium-sized and large companies • to assess the cost associated with the various currently required disclosures and evaluate the potential burden reduction the suggested reduced level of disclosures would bring. • to quantify the implementation cost of the IFRS for SMEs and the annual costs of reporting according to IFRS for SMEs The study should provide data that the Commission will be able to take into account in a review and impact assessment of the proposed changes to the 4th Company Law Directive. 7 Latest consolidated version: xxxx://xxx-xxx.xxxxxx.xx/LexUriServ/XxxXxxXxxx.xx?uri=CONSLEG:1978L0660:20090716:EN:PDF
