Common use of Notification by Employee Clause in Contracts

Notification by Employee. An employee shall report the intention to be absent from duty to the Superintendent or designee by 7:00 A.M. on the day of the absence, provided that if possible, notification should be given on the previous day or earlier. If an employee expects to return to an assignment, the employee should notify the Superintendent or designee of such intention by 3:00 P.M. on the previous day in order to release the substitute.
