Common use of Notice of Discipline, Suspension or Discharge Clause in Contracts

Notice of Discipline, Suspension or Discharge. The Employer agrees to notify the Union in writing, within five (5) days of the suspension or discharge of an employee, that discipline has been imposed on an employee along with the date of the disciplinary action. The Employer shall, upon the request of the disciplined employee, send a copy of the disciplinary action, short of suspension and/or discharge to the designated chapter chairperson.
