Common use of Night Work Clause in Contracts

Night Work. Employees who work at night as part of their normal working week are entitled to receive an enhancement of time and one third for all hours worked between 8.00 pm and 6.00 am.

Service department with the agreement of all parties concerned may as an alternative to offering night rates grant time off in lieu. The arrangements for this will be a matter for local service determination.
