The centrally sponsored Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxx National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM), Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small and Medium Towns (UIDMMST), and other national and state budgetary allocations are available, but are not adequate to meet the complete investment requirement. The urban services investment program in Guwahati of $575.36 million including the ADB, JICA and JNNURM accounts for 44% of the total investment requirement of $1.3 billion for the 13 largest cities in Assam. Similarly, the investment program for urban transport in Guwahati, $205.12 million, accounts for 20% of the total urban transport investment requirement of more than $1.0 billion for the 13 largest cities. All other courses must be evaluated by the Department of Theology & Philosophy for transfer.
