Common use of Modified Work Clause in Contracts

Modified Work. (a) The Employer, the Union and any affected employee have obligations to participate in developing a modified work plan based on medical limitations to ensure the earliest possible safe return to work following a workplace injury, accident or other medical problem giving rise to a need for accommodation. Employees with a medical problem giving rise to a need for accommodation must disclose that need, provide medical evidence and request accommodation at the earliest possible time.

Modified Work.
