MODES OF EMPLOYMENT. 8.1.1. The parties are committed to recognising the preferred mode of employment in TAFE being ongoing. However the parties also recognise that some fixed term or casual employment will continue to be necessary. Such employment will be in accordance with the terms of the Award and this Agreement. It is agreed that fixed-term and casual employment will not be used to substitute for ongoing employment.
