Common use of Minimum Reporting Pay Clause in Contracts

Minimum Reporting Pay. If an Employee reports for work at the regularly scheduled time for his or her shift and no work is available, such Employee will be entitled to a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the Employee’s regular rate provided that: (a) The Employee has not been previously notified by the Employer to the contrary, either orally or by message left at the Employee’s residence. (b) If requested by the Employer, the Employee shall perform a minimum of four (4) hours of such available work as the Employer may assign. (c) It is understood that reporting pay is not a guarantee of a minimum shift requirement.
