Vacation Upon Separation a. An employee may not use vacation to delay their separation date.
Vacation Upon Separation. Upon separation, one-hundred percent (100%) of an employee’s accrued unused vacation shall be deposited into the Health Care Savings Plan (MSRS). The deposit shall occur within thirty (30) days of the date of separation, provided however, that in the case of involuntary termination, this deposit shall occur only after final disposition is reached or all timelines to contest the discharge have expired, whichever is later.
Vacation Upon Separation. Upon separation of employment, permanent employees who have completed six months of continuous service will be paid for any remaining unused accrued vacation.

Upon Separation from employment, unused vacation allotment, computed at the daily rate of the salary of the separating Sergeant at the time of separation will be handled as follows: Reason Pay Out Termination for Cause, including job abandonment, None Voluntary Separation None Death which is not employment related None Employment related Death Up to a maximum of 25 unused vacation days Layoff Up to a maximum of 15 unused vacation days Upon retirement or resignation an employee shall be permitted to utilize up to ten (10) days (80 hours for 40 hour work week) of accumulated but unused vacation time if the employee gives at least ten (10) days, (two (2) weeks) written notice of resignation or retirement prior to the utilization of any such unused time. For example, if employee X has 10 vacation days (2 weeks), employee X must give at least 20 days (4 weeks) notice of resignation or retirement in order to utilize unused vacation.
Vacation Upon Separation. Upon an employees’ separation or retirement from County employment, other than because of death, the County shall pay a regular employee for accrued vacation leave up to a maximum of two hundred eighty (280) hours. In case of death of a regular, non-probationary employee, the County shall pay the appropriate beneficiary accrued vacation, up to a maximum payment for 360 hours.
Vacation Upon Separation. A. Upon separation from employment, employees who have six (6) or more consecutive months of employment shall receive pay in lieu of unused earned vacation leave, except as established in Article 8.5 of this Agreement.
Vacation Upon Separation. Unless vacation time can be arranged before separation from the District, a unit member who has earned vacation days to his/her credit shall be paid for those days.

Vacation Upon Separation. Employees separating from the County service will be paid for vacation balances at the employee’s current hourly rate of pay.
