Common use of MINIMUM CALL-IN Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM CALL-IN. 14.01 Employees, when called for work, shall be guaranteed four (4) hours’ pay for that day at their regular hourly rate of pay. Under this provision workers shall not leave of their own accord when work is available. For work performed on Saturdays, Sundays or general holidays, the employee shall receive the guaranteed four (4) hours’ pay at their regular hourly rate of pay, or pay for the hours actually worked at the applicable overtime rate, whichever is the greater.
