Common use of Membership and Association Dues Clause in Contracts

Membership and Association Dues. 1. The Board, upon notification by the Association, and receipt of a copy of a dues authorization card, agrees to deduct from each pay period, November through March the member/employee’s Association dues from his/her pay and remit such deduction to the Treasurer of the local Association no more than ten (10) working days after the payday for which the deduction is made. The Association shall certify a list of member/ employee names and amounts of the bi-monthly Association dues to be deducted and shall provide copies of the listed employees’ dues authorization cards. Dues deduction shall continue in effect from year to year unless terminated by the employee’s written notification to the Association President and the Business office prior to September 15 of any school year or upon termination of an employee's employment.
