Common use of Medical Services Plan of B Clause in Contracts

Medical Services Plan of B. C . Teachers may become members of the Medical Services Plan of B.C. effective on appointment. The Board shall pay 100% of the premium cost of the Medical Services Plan of B.C. for each teacher who is a member of the plan. If a teacher dies while in the employ of the Board, that teacher’s dependents shall continue to receive medical benefits for a period of four (4) months from the time of death, providing that the surviving spouse or other family member completes the appropriate application form.
