Common use of Measurements and Dimensions Clause in Contracts

Measurements and Dimensions. Without limiting clause 6.2: the Contractor must obtain and check all relevant measurements and dimensions on Site before proceeding with the Contractor's Activities; the layout of plant, equipment, ductwork, pipework and cabling shown in the Design Documents (if any) is to be taken as diagrammatic only and all measurements and dimension information concerning the Site required to carry out the Contractor's Activities must be obtained and checked by the Contractor; and the Principal will not be liable upon any claim by the Contractor resulting from the Contractor's failure to obtain and check measurements and dimension information concerning the Site as required by this clause 6.12.
