Meal Breaks and Rest Periods. The normal daily extended tour shall be 9.38 consecutive hours in any 24-hour period, exclusive of a total of thirty-seven (37) minutes of unpaid meal time, or 11.25 consecutive hours in any 24-hour period, exclusive of a total of forty-five (45) minutes of unpaid meal time. Employees shall be entitled, subject to the exigencies of patient care, to relief periods during a 9.38 hour tour of a total of thirty-seven (37) minutes and during an 11.25 hour tour of a total of forty-five (45) minutes.
