Lunch and Rest Periods. A. Each employee working more than four (4) hours per day shall be entitled to a minimum of one-half (1/2) hour duty free lunch period without pay.

Lunch and Rest Periods. 9 .1 Employees shall not be required to work more than five (5) hours from the start of their shift without a one-half (½) hour (nor more than one <1> hour) break for lunch . This period shall not begin earlier than three and one-half (3 ½) hours after the start of the shift and shall not begin later than five (5) hours after the start of the shift . If they are required to work past this time and they are denied time to eat, they shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate until such time as they are allowed to eat their lunch . Employees required to work more than two (2) hours after the end of the regular shift shall be allowed to at least one- half (½) hour meal period which shall be considered as time worked, and if it is impractical for the employees to leave the job, they shall be provided a lunch by the Employer .
