Common use of Maternity-Related Reassignment or Leave Clause in Contracts

Maternity-Related Reassignment or Leave. (a) A pregnant employee who presents a medical certificate attesting that her working conditions represent a danger for her physical health or for the physical health of her unborn child, may ask to temporarily be assigned to a position exempt of this danger, for the duration of her pregnancy. The medical certificate shall specify the nature of the danger. The Employer may request a confirmation of this danger by a physician of its choice.
