Master’s Degree. Training toward master's degree status will be recognized on the salary schedule only if obtained in the candidate's teaching field or Board-approved field and must be part of a university or college-approved planned master's degree program and submitted to the Superintendent by September 1. A teacher will be granted a hearing by the Board if another field is desired.
