Master’s Degree. Transcripts must be submitted showing the actual completion of the degree requirements, or a transcript plus certification that requirements have been met and the degree will be granted on a specific date. Master’s Degrees other than in the field of education are acceptable only if they are in or relevant to the member’s current subject area of teaching. Examples of degrees relevant to a member’s current subject area would be political science for social studies teachers, engineering for industrial arts teachers, reading, or counseling degrees for all teachers. Approval of degrees in areas other than the member’s current teaching assignment will be at the discretion of the District and will be granted based upon the program needs of the District. Specifically excluded are degrees in fields unrelated to the member’s assignment, such as business degrees for elementary teachers except in response to a specific District program need, and degrees in law and religion.
Master’s Degree. Any earned Master of Science or Arts Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Master’s Degree. For liberal arts and sciences customarily granted upon successful completion of one (sometimes two) academic years beyond the Bachelor's degree. In professional fields, an advanced degree beyond the first professional but below the Ph.D., e.g., the LL.M.; M.S. in surgery following the M.D.; M.S.D., Master of Science in Dentistry; M.S.W., Master of Social Work, and MA, Master of Arts.
Master’s Degree. (A) In Nursing A regular employee who has received a Master's Degree in nursing shall receive an additional one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) per month.
Master’s Degree. + 45 – A bargaining unit member who holds a master's degree in an education field or in the subject area of assignment and has completed 45 semester hours of course work after receipt of the master's degree.
Master’s Degree. 2. Bachelor’s degree plus sixty (60) college credits or two (2) years’ relevant experience, or combination thereof.
Master’s Degree. A. Any teacher with a master's degree from an accredited college or university in the teacher's area of assignment or subject area shall be eligible for placement on this salary channel.
Master’s Degree. A Registered Nurse who has received a Masters Degree in Nursing and has completed four (4) months' continuous service shall be paid $163.42 per month, effective September 1, 2008.
Master’s Degree. Lennox School District 41-4 certified teachers who are enrolled in an approved university education master's degree program shall be paid on the appropriate lanes (BA+12, BA+24) per the Negotiated Contract for all course work approved by the university toward the master's degree program. The master's degree program shall be validated in writing from the university and submitted to the superintendent's office on or before June 1 on the specified form. The Master’s degree is acceptable from all state approved university educational programs.
Master’s Degree. A full time certified teacher with a Master’s degree will be compensated from the Master’s salary schedule. Part time staff with a Master’s degree will be prorated accordingly.
