Low Census Low census is defined as a decline in patient care requirements resulting in a temporary staff decrease. During periods of low census, the Employer will assign low census to nurses in the following order:

State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) During the life of this Agreement, the Employer agrees to offer a Group Insurance Program that includes health, dental, life, and disability coverages equivalent to existing coverages, subject to the provisions of this Article. All insurance eligible employees will be provided with a Summary Plan Description (SPD) called “Your Employee Benefits”. Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year. New insurance eligible employees shall receive a SPD within thirty (30) days of their date of eligibility.

In-Service Programs The parties to this collective agreement recognize the value of in-service education both to the employee and the Employer.
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION 14.1 The purpose of employee evaluation is to support decisions concerning employee discipline, promotion and improvement. Evaluation shall be the responsibility of the immediate supervisor who shall not be a member of the bargaining unit.

Maintenance Employees The normal hours of work for full-time Maintenance employees are 72 ½ hours over a two (2) week period, not to exceed eight (8) hours per day.
CATEGORIES OF EMPLOYEES SECTION 10.1: FULL TIME EMPLOYEE Regular Full-Time Employee is one who is scheduled to work or normally works a minimum of thirty (30) or more hours a week. After completing the probationary period, regular full-time employees are eligible for benefits as specified in this contract or as otherwise specified in the Employer's Employee Handbook.
