Maintenance Employee(s) definition

Maintenance Employee(s) means any person who was or is employed by AvalonBay in one or more of the non-exempt positions with the following titles at any AvalonBay property in the State of New York, during the applicable statute of limitations period(s) set forth in Section 4, below:

  • I Maintenance Employees; J Special Delivery Messengers; K Motor Vehicle Employees; L Postal Clerks; M Mail Equipment Shop employees; or N Mail Transport Equipment Centers and Supply Center employees.

  • Building Maintenance Employees are graded at various levels depending upon the utilisation of their achieved certification, skills and assessment of Core activity criteria as detailed in the Skills Training Register.

  • The Director of Facilities shall ask for input from Maintenance Employees in the ordering of major equipment, supplies, tools and vehicles used by the Maintenance Employees.

  • Food Service Truck Driver Grounds Roving Substitute Maintenance Employees Employees are required, as a condition of initial hiring and continued employment in the District to have a valid South Dakota Driver's License authorizing them to operate all of the District motor vehicles.

  • No more than two Maintenance Employees may be on vacation at the same time during non- student days and vacation will be granted based upon seniority and when the request is submitted (i.e,, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall grant vacation requests for Winter Break based upon the requests submitted by October 15 each year; for Spring Break based upon the requests submitted by February 15 each year; and for Summer Break based upon the requests submitted by April 15 each year).

  • Bargaining unit members who are in the Skilled Trades and Maintenance Employees Bargaining unit (titles listed in Appendix B) only have rights within that unit and do not have rights in any other unit.

  • The work week for Maintenance Employees only shall be from Tuesday to Saturday, under this schedule Monday becomes a normal day off, or alternatively an overtime day.

  • The Employer recognizes the Union designated below as the exclusive bargaining representative of all employees in the bargaining unit for which each has been recognized and certified at the national level: American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO — Maintenance Employees American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO — Motor Vehicle Employees American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO — Postal Clerks – The Special Delivery Messengers were merged into the Clerk Craft by Memorandum of Understanding dated November 20, 1997.

  • Garage and Maintenance Employees will bid on a seniority basis within their own units and within blocks throughout the year available as posted by the City (HSR).

  • Employees other than Maintenance Employees shall not be entitled to receive travelling time or allowance or to be provided with transportation.

  • Routine maintenance means actions performed on a regular or controllable basis or in response to uncontrollable events upon a highway, road, street, or bridge. Routine maintenance includes, but is not limited to, 1 or more of the following:

  • Maintenance Plan means a maintenance plan pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(b) and 5.8 prepared by the design engineer for the stormwater management measures incorporated into the design of a major development.

  • Preventive Maintenance means that maintenance, performed on a scheduled basis by the Contractor, which is designed to keep the Equipment in proper operating condition.

  • Preventative Maintenance means the routine, customary or regular course of procedure related to the care or upkeep of an existing Department facility or system, which may also include inspection services provided as part of a preventative maintenance program. Preventive maintenance is conducted to keep equipment working and/or extend the life of the equipment.

  • Maintenance Service means the telephone system maintenance services supplied by us pursuant to the Telephony System and Maintenance Service Specific Terms and as described on the relevant Order Form;
