Common use of Longevity Clause in Contracts

Longevity. Each member of the unit who has completed ten (10) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall re- ceive twenty cents ($.20 in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each member of the unit who has completed fourteen (14) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive fifty-five cents ($.55) in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Longevity. Each Longevity shall be paid in the following amounts for 2080 hours per year. Beginning July 1, 2019, each member of the unit who has completed ten (10) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall re- ceive twenty cents (receive $.20 .25 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each Beginning on July 1, 2019, each member of the unit who has completed fourteen fifteen (1415) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive fifty-five cents ($.55) .50 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each Beginning on July 1, 2019, each member of the unit who has completed nineteen (19) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive seventy-five cents ($.75) .75 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each Beginning on July 1, 2019, each member of the unit who has completed twenty-fourfour (24) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive $.90 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment.

Each Beginning on July 1, 1996, each member of the unit who has completed nineteen (19) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive seventy-five cents ($.75) .50 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each Beginning on July 1, 1996, each member of the unit who has completed twenty-fournine (29) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive $.60 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment.
