Common use of Longevity Clause in Contracts

Longevity. Each member of the unit who has completed ten (10) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall re- ceive twenty cents ($.20 in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment. Each member of the unit who has completed fourteen (14) years of service as a Livonia Public Schools employee shall receive fifty-five cents ($.55) in addition to the regular hourly rate as a longevity payment.
