Common use of Long-Term or Project Schedule Changes Clause in Contracts

Long-Term or Project Schedule Changes. Employees’ workweeks and work schedules may be changed for periods exceeding twenty-one (21) calendar days with prior notice from the Employer. Overtime-eligible employees will receive ten (10) calendar days’ written notice of a long-term or project schedule change. The day notification is given is considered the first day of notice. Upon request, the Employer will meet with affected employees and/or the Union to discuss the change and the reason/s for it. Notice will normally be given to the affected employees during their scheduled working hours. If an affected employee is on extended leave, notice may be sent to the employee’s last known address.
