Length of Temporary Employment. The University may hire temporary employees for up to six (6) months to perform clerical and service/maintenance duties. The University may extend this period by an additional six (6) months following notice by Human Resources that an extension is necessary. Human Resources will meet with the Union to explain the reasons for the extension if requested by the Union.
