Common use of Legal Assistance Clause in Contracts

Legal Assistance. The employer shall provide an employee facing a criminal or disciplinary action under the BIG Act with adequate legal assistance, unless there was intent or gross negligence or the case does not relate to the performance of his job. If the employee has serious objections to the person providing the legal assistance, the employer may appoint another person in consultation with the employee.
