Common use of Leave for Temporary Military Training Clause in Contracts

Leave for Temporary Military Training. Any regular employee who, as a reserve member of the armed forces of the United States, is called upon to receive temporary training, shall be entitled to a leave of absence not to exceed fifteen days in any one calendar year. He/she shall notify the Superintendent, in writing, at least one week in advance of the dates of departure and return. The employee shall be paid the difference between his/her regular compensation and the remuneration received for serving as a reserve; provided he/she furnishes the Treasurer with a payroll voucher for such time served.
