L EGAL AUTHORITY. The Contractor assures and guarantees that it possesses the legal authority, pursuant to any proper, appropriate and official motion, resolution or action passed or taken, giving the Contractor legal authority to enter into this agreement, receive funds, authorized by this agreement and to perform the services the Contractor has obligated itself to perform under this agreement.

L EGAL AUTHORITY. A. The parties make this agreement as required by Article XIII-A of the Public School Code of 1949, popularly known as the “Safe Schools Act”, as amended, 24 P.S. §§ 13-1301-A-13-1313-A.
L EGAL AUTHORITY. Licensee represents and warrants that it possesses the legal authority, pursuant to any proper, appropriate and official motion, resolution or action passed or taken, to enter into the Agreement. Each person signing and executing the Agreement on behalf of Licensee represents and warrants that he has been fully authorized by Licensee to execute the Agreement on behalf of Licensee and to validly and legally bind Licensee to all the terms, performances and provisions of the Agreement. The City shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to either temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the Agreement if there is a dispute as to the legal authority of either Licensee or the person signing the Agreement to enter into the Agreement.
L EGAL AUTHORITY. The parties recognize that the Oregon Safe Employment Act (ORS 654.000 - 654.295) applies to employment with the County. Remedies for alleged violations are limited to statutory procedures; no grievances under this Agreement may be filed for alleged violations of this subsection or applicable law.
