Joint Insurance Committee The Committee shall be referred to as the Joint Insurance Committee (Academic Employees).
Insurance Committee An Insurance Committee comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Superintendent and three (3) representatives selected by Okeechobee County Education Association #1604 shall be established to review and make recommendations regarding the health insurance program. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly and may meet more frequently as needed. Notwithstanding the above, any anticipated changes to the hospitalization and health insurance program which would result in a program less than equivalent to the existing program shall be subject to negotiations.
Benefits and Insurance The Executive shall, in accordance with Company policy and the terms of the applicable plan documents, be eligible to participate in benefits under any benefit plan or arrangement that may be in effect from time to time and made available to similarly situated Company executives (including, but not limited to, being named as an officer for purposes of the Company’s Directors & Officers insurance policy). The Company reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, add or eliminate benefits at any time. All benefits shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents, which may be amended or terminated at any time. The Executive shall be entitled to vacation each year, in addition to sick leave and observed holidays in accordance with the policies and practices of the Company. Vacation may be taken at such times and intervals as the Executive shall determine, subject to the business needs of the Company.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE BENEFITS 22.01 All health and insurance benefit premium costs paid by the Employer shall prorate in accordance with the proration formula under Article 22.12 of this Agreement. Same sex spouse is eligible to be a dependent for insured benefits.
Health Insurance Committee The UFF-USF-GAU President will appoint one (1) employee to serve on the University's Student Health Insurance Committee.
Coordination of Benefits and Subrogation IPA and HMO shall establish and implement a system for coordination of benefits and subrogation, in accordance with those rules established under the HMO's policies and procedures and applicable federal and state laws. If known to IPA, IPA shall identify and inform HMO of Members for whom coordination of benefits and subrogation opportunities exist. HMO hereby authorizes IPA to seek payment, on a fee-for service basis or otherwise, from any insurance carrier, organization, or government agency which is primarily responsible for the payment or provision of medical services provided by IPA under this Agreement which can be recovered by reason of coordination of benefits, motor vehicle injury, worker's compensation, temporary disability, occupational disease, or similar exclusionary or limiting provisions, to the extent authorized by the applicable and not otherwise prohibited by law.
Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:
Saver’s Credit for IRA Contributions A credit of up to $1,000, or up to $2,000 if married filing jointly, may be available to certain taxpayers having a joint AGI of less than $65,000 in 2020, or $66,000 in 2021. The credit may also be available to certain taxpayers who are heads of household with an AGI of less than $48,750 in 2020, $49,500 in 2021, or married individuals filing separately and singles with an AGI less than $32,500 in 2020, or $33,000 in 2021. Some of the restrictions that apply include: • the individual must be at least 18; • not a full-time student; • not declared as a dependent on another taxpayer’s return; or • any distribution from most retirement plans (qualified and non-qualified) will decrease the eligible contribution.
Referral to the Committee a) Prior to referral to the Committee, the matter shall be brought to the attention of the other local party.
