Individual Training. The Board will encourage individual teachers to attend appropriate conferences, participate in seated and/or online workshops and tutorials, make visitations and become involved in other professional development activities to the extent possible within the resources of the district. 1. Teachers desiring to avail themselves of the above kinds of activities will fill out and submit to their immediate supervisor a Request to Attend Conference form at least seven (7) calendar days in advance. Teachers may have the option of taking part in such approved activities at their own expense with no loss of pay or paid leave if sufficient funding is not available from the district. 2. The immediate supervisor will review and approve such requests, or if appropriate, forward them to the Superintendent or designee for approval. Notification of approval by the Administration will be made as soon as possible. 3. Reimbursement for expenses related to such activities will be made as soon as possible after submission of the teacher's copy of the Request to Attend Conference form, and appropriate documentation for the expenses claimed. The Superintendent or designee may authorize the advance payment of prescribed expenses for approved activities upon request of the teacher involved. Reimbursement will not be made without sufficient documentation and shall follow district policy/guidelines. 4. Individuals taking part in such activities shall submit a brief written report upon the request of their immediate supervisor, and are otherwise encouraged to share their experience with other staff members as appropriate. 5. The Board shall, upon request, provide to the Association a summary of conferences and other such activities attended by teachers during the prior school year.
Individual Training. Each teacher is allowed to spend one hundred dollars ($100) on costs related to attending educational in-service sessions of his/her free choice, with the stipulation that the sessions be applicable to educational processes or programs. Costs to be covered by the $100 include travel costs, food and lodging. The District agrees to pay reasonable registration fees. (“Reasonable” will be determined by the principal’s review of the proposed attendance plan.) The $100 applies to each teacher, and cannot be pooled nor carried over into the next year. Once a teaching contract has been signed for the ensuing school year and summer training costs have been incurred by the district on an employee’s behalf, the teacher will be obligated to reimburse the district for all incurred summer training costs, provided that the teacher asks and is granted a release from this/her contract. Teacher-choice in-services state wide occur predominantly, but not exclusively, during fall and spring state in-service days. If the District has no planned activity, and attendance at an in-service in his/her specialty is not approved, the teacher will be expected to have a work plan approved by the principal and be on campus for the normally scheduled days. The administration shall provide teachers with appropriate forms on which to submit in-service plans. Whenever possible, the school calendar will schedule half-days for students for in-service days, thus allowing minimal disruption to the instructional continuity.
Individual Training. Each employee will be individually entitled to three days of training per year as from 2022, which will be increased to four days as from 2023 and to five days as from 2024, with exceptions for employers with fewer than 10 employees. Moreover, at least once per year, every employer with at least 20 employees will be required to draw up a training plan, which should be submitted to the Works Council for advice. The employer must provide measures for those employees who currently receive little training.
Individual Training. Player must follow the established level of playing as a professional in SM-liiga when training individually if Employer has not organized joint training among the team. Employer is obliged to instruct Player in writing, following a high-quality standard, and by taking into account Player's personal needs, on individual training during such independent period, in which case insurance coverage in accordance with this Player Contract must be valid. Player is obliged to participate in fitness tests ordered by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s coaching management. These tests are to be organized in such a way so as not to overlap with Player’s annual or training leave.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • General Training 417. The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee. The foregoing includes but is not limited to mandatory continuing education and/or training requirements.

  • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.
