Independent Xxxxx Taxi. This Agreement is for a particular and non-exclusive service. XXXXX TAXI shall have no power or authority to bind the County or to assume or create any obligation or responsibility, express or implied, on the County’s behalf, or to hold itself out as an agent, employee or partner of the County. Nothing in the Agreement shall have the effect of creating an employment, partnership or institution relationship between the County and XXXXX TAXI. For the purposes of this paragraph, XXXXX TAXI includes any of its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, affiliates, volunteers or subcontractors.

  • NOW, THEREFORE the parties hereto agree as follows:

  • Insurance The Company and the Subsidiaries are insured by insurers of recognized financial responsibility against such losses and risks and in such amounts as are prudent and customary in the businesses in which the Company and the Subsidiaries are engaged, including, but not limited to, directors and officers insurance coverage. Neither the Company nor any Subsidiary has any reason to believe that it will not be able to renew its existing insurance coverage as and when such coverage expires or to obtain similar coverage from similar insurers as may be necessary to continue its business without a significant increase in cost.
