Common use of Incentive Policy Clause in Contracts

Incentive Policy. The Incentive Policy encourages unit members to pursue job-related training and education, and provides incentive pay to be added to the individual’s base rate of pay. To be eligible for incentive credit, the activity has to meet an approval process and be pursued on the employee’s time and at the employee’s expense. It is understood that the District also at times provides training and education on the District’s time and at the District’s expense. These activities would not be eligible for incentive credit. The Incentive Program is described below:
