Hyflex. Course instruction is provided face-to-face and available to students both face-to-face and online synchronously. Students may elect to attend face-to-face or to participate online, consistent with any Hyflex parameters as determined by the College, in consultation with the local chapter and as published in the faculty member’s syllabus.
Hyflex. Hyflex courses allow the student to choose to attend in-person and/or virtually. These courses simultaneously combine in-person and online modalities. These courses can meet synchronously and asynchronously and offer students greater flexibility to meet attendance requirements.
Hyflex. Instruction takes place using both in-person and online components. Instructors teach in-person, online synchronously or through recordings and completing activities asynchronously. All students in the course attend in person and/or online; maximum registration will not exceed classroom capacity. Online assessment must be available to students, but in-person assessments can be offered simultaneously. Instruction takes place through regularly scheduled, synchronous online teaching of students. Students are not required to attend in person for learning or assessment activities. Instruction takes place fully online through the DE learning platform. Course content is delivered asynchronously online by the instructor with optional online synchronous components (e.g., orientation and welcome, office hours, peer learning communities, tutorials). Assessments are completed asynchronously. Students are not required to attend in person for learning or assessment activities. Meetings include lectures, labs, and tutorials. Hyflex. HyFlex course integrates distance delivery and in-person instruction modalities. Students are given choice in how they participate in the course and engage with material in the mode that works best for them over the course and from session to session.
Hyflex. District approved training shall be required of all faculty prior to teaching Hyflex. Part-time faculty will be paid a $500 stipend upon completion. 7.2.9.1 Hybrid and Hyflex classes will have the same maximum enrollment as full in-person classes.

  • New Technology When new or updated technology is introduced into a workplace, it will be the responsibility of the employer to provide appropriate and, if necessary, ongoing training to the employees directly affected. Such training will include any health and safety implications or information that will enable employees to operate the equipment without discomfort and will help maintain their general well-being.

  • COVID-19 Employees of Contractor and/or persons working on its behalf, including, but not limited to, subcontractors (collectively, “Contractor Personnel”), while performing services under this Agreement and prior to interacting in person with City employees, contractors, volunteers, or members of the public (collectively, “In-Person Services”) must be fully vaccinated against the novel coronavirus 2019 (“COVID-19”). “Fully vaccinated” means that 14 or more days have passed since Contractor Personnel have received the final dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series (Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech) or a single dose of a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine (▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇) and all booster doses recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Prior to assigning Contractor Personnel to perform In-Person Services, Contractor shall obtain proof that such Contractor Personnel have been fully vaccinated. Contractor shall retain such proof for the document retention period set forth in this Agreement. Contractor shall grant medical or religious exemptions (“Exemptions”) to Contractor Personnel as required by law. If Contractor wishes to assign Contractor Personnel with Exemptions to perform In- Person Services, Contractor shall require such Contractor Personnel to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing, with the full cost of testing to be borne by Contractor. If Contractor Personnel test positive, they shall not be assigned to perform In-Person Services or, to the extent they have already been performing In-Person Services, shall be immediately removed from those assignments. Furthermore, Contractor shall immediately notify City if Contractor Personnel performing In-Person Services (1) have tested positive for or have been diagnosed with COVID-19, (2) have been informed by a medical professional that they are likely to have COVID-19, or (3) meet the criteria for isolation under applicable government orders.
