Hot Work. If hot work is to be performed on the Project, the Contractor shall obtain a hot work permit from the Owner daily or as required by Owner, until the hot work is complete. This permit request may be found on-line at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/rms/occupational/hot-work. 40.6.1 The submission of a hot work permit request to Owner does not constitute permission for hot work to commence. Only when the Contractor’s designated Permit Authorizing Individual has authorized the permit may hot work be performed. 40.6.2 Indoor air quality must be maintained through local ventilation when performing hot work or using offensive chemicals. Complaints about indoor air quality must be immediately addressed and remedied.
