Hot Work a) An employee who works in a place where the temperature has been raised by artificial means to between 46 and 54 degrees Celsius will be paid an additional $0.54 or part thereof; with an additional $0.67 or part thereof, where the temperature exceeds 54 degrees Celsius.
b) Where such work continues for more than two hours, the employee will be entitled to 20 minutes’ rest after every two hours work without loss of pay, not including the special rate provided for in clause 16.4(a).

(a) Employees engaged on cleaning or maintenance work inside hot effets, hot flues, hot vacuum pans, hot boilers, hot combustion ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or hot fire boxes of mill boilers where the ambient temperature, having been raised by artificial means, is 45 degrees celsius or more, shall be paid at the rate of single time extra in addition to the prevailing rate for the time spent actually performing the work: Employees shall perform such work for 10 minutes on each occasion the work is performed before the additional rate applies.
(b) Employees shall not be paid this allowance for “spelling time” or for time spent working as a member of the gang outside the hot place.
(c) This allowance shall be in lieu of any other provision of this Agreement relating to hot work, unpleasant conditions, confined spaces or dirty work.
Hot Work. All hot work permits will be approved by Elk Ridge before welding or other hot work begins. Hot work permits are required prior to normal welding in areas outside the welding shop. Hot work permits are required for any out-of-the ordinary welding regardless of where it is conducted.
Hot Work. An employee shall be paid an allowance of 47 cents per hour when the employee works in the shade in any place where the temperature is raised by artificial means to between 46.1 degrees and 54.4 degrees Celsius.

Hot Work ll.l3.l. Hot work conducted by Contractors within any Avangrid Facility requires: ll.l3.l.l. Oversight and approval by an Avangrid Representative or other designated Owner Representative.
Hot Work. All Contractors conducting “Hot Work” (welding, cutting, etc.) must comply with requirements in OSHA 29 CFR and shall be familiar with and comply with CCI hot work permit procedures.

40.6.1 The submission of a hot work permit request to Owner does not constitute permission for hot work to commence. Only when the Contractor’s designated Permit Authorizing Individual has authorized the permit may hot work be performed.
40.6.2 Indoor air quality must be maintained through local ventilation when performing hot work or using offensive chemicals. Complaints about indoor air quality must be immediately addressed and remedied.
